Before I ever open my design software, I spend time getting to know your business, your goals, and your vision so that when I do begin designing, it feels like your business—not my portfolio.
 

My Process: How a Website Comes Together From Start to Finish

This is a question I wish more people would ask because every designer handles feedback differently. I always tell my clients the same thing: you're never going to hurt my feelings. My goal isn't to create my favorite website—it's to create yours. If something doesn't feel right, we'll change it. I've started over more times than I can count because I'd much rather have a client who is genuinely proud of their website than one who settled for a design they didn't love.

A beautiful website means very little if it doesn't feel like the business behind it. Before hiring a designer, ask how they plan to learn about your business, your customers, and what makes you different. I believe the best websites are built on relationships, not assumptions, which is why I spend time getting to know every client before I ever begin designing. If I understand the heart behind your business, I can create a website that feels authentic to you instead of something that simply looks nice.

A great website isn't built in silence. Throughout every project, I stay in regular communication with my clients so they always know what's happening, what's coming next, and where we are in the process. I never want someone to feel forgotten or left wondering if their project is sitting untouched. Building a website should feel collaborative, and my goal is to make the entire experience just as enjoyable as the finished product.
